My Favorite Granola

Lately, I have been working on perfecting my Açaí Bowl recipe. I had my first homemade Açaí Bowl a couple months ago in Florida with my sweet friend Kerry. Her Açaí Bowls inspired me to start creating my own, which also inspired me to make granola. If you’ve never made granola, you’re missing out! Years ago when I worked for a catering company, it was one of my absolute favorite things we made. Below is my favorite recipe for granola. Once, I have my Açaí Bowl recipe completely perfect, I’ll share that too!

My Favorite Granola Recipe Ingredients

4 cups of old-fashioned oats

1 cup of your favorite nuts (I used walnuts or pecans)

2 tbs brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup honey (sub maple syrup if vegan)

1/2 cup olive oil or melted coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (yay, less clean up). In a large bowl combine oats, nuts, brown, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

  2. Pour honey, olive oil, and vanilla and mix. You want every oat to be coated so it is flavorful. Pour granola onto the pan and spread out evenly.

  3. Bake the granola for 22-24 minutes, and stir once halfway through. Make sure to let the granola cool completely before storing. Store in an air tight container or bag.

Options

You can really switch anything up in the this recipe. I have made it with no oil and it was super yummy. You can switch out the nuts, dried fruits, add seeds, whatever you want!

If you make. this granola, make sure to take a photo and tag me!

XO,

Madison
